Terms and Conditions

1 – Reception and Departures : Check-in is from 17 p.m. At 21 p.m., without news from you, the reservation is cancelled. Accommodation must be vacated before 10 a.m. on the day of departure.

2 – Other conditions : Free Wi-Fi. Access to the private garden. Please report any broken, faulty or damaged appliances. Out of respect for the neighbours and in accordance with the law, you are requested to limit noise after 22pm. Smoking is prohibited in the house; ashtrays are available outside, in the garden and on the terraces. Our animal friends are not accepted. Any behaviour that does not comply with these living conditions will lead us to ask you to leave our house without any refund or compensation.

Rooms: All our rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. Breakfast and linen (bed and bath) are included in the price. Please do not eat in the rooms. Access to the rooms is exclusively reserved for guests staying there. Breakfast is served from 8am to 9:30am.

Gîtes: An inventory will be made with us upon your arrival and departure. In the event of damage to the premises or furniture or equipment, you will be billed an amount equivalent to the cost of repair or replacement of equipment. 

3 – Reservation :

Stays, in gites as in guest rooms, are guaranteed only when the payment of a deposit of 30% of the amount of the stay has been validated on our site and you receive the confirmation email corresponding to your reservation.

Your reservation is personal and cannot under any circumstances be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or for a fee.

 

4 - Payment : We accept payments by wire transfer and credit card (except American Express), but payments by bank check are no longer accepted.

Rooms: You will pay the balance of your stay on site when you leave.

Gîtes: The balance of the stay is to be paid 2 weeks before the start of the rental: we will charge you the balance of the stay at that time, from your credit card used when paying your reservation deposit.

Any additional consumption and services not mentioned when booking will be payable at the end of your stay.
The tourist tax is a local tax that you will have to pay on site: we then pay it to the Public Treasury. 

5 – Cancellation and refund :

5-1 – Cancellation by the customer:
5-1-1 Cancellation before the start of the stay: Cancellation of the reservation can be made by telephone or by email, according to the following cancellation conditions:

Your cancellation conditions in ROOMS 
– More than 14 days before 0% of the reservation amount is due
– From 7 to 14 days before 30% of the reservation amount is due
– Between 7 days and the reservation date 100% of the reservation amount is due

Your cancellation conditions in GITES 
– More than 90 days before 0% of the reservation amount is due, your deposit will be refunded
– From 90 to 30 days before 30% of the reservation amount is due
– From 30 to 14 days before 50% of the reservation amount is due
– Between 14 days and the reservation date, 100% of the reservation amount is due

– In the case of an online reservation guaranteed by your credit card number: the amount due at the time of cancellation will be debited using your credit card used as a guarantee.
– In the case of a reservation not using our Internet platform with credit card guarantee: please send us the amount due by bank transfer.

Miscellaneous reimbursement:
— In the event of reimbursement on our part, we undertake to make the latter without delay;
— Having read these General Conditions of Sale and Life before your reservation, you cannot oppose or contest the payment of any penalties generated by your cancellation;
— We reserve the right not to proceed with the request for payment of cancellation penalties, or to proceed with the reimbursement of the deposit, following your cancellation for exceptional reasons over which we alone have control.

5-1-2 No show: if you do not show up before 21 p.m. on the scheduled start date of your stay, your reservation is cancelled, 100% of your reservation remains due and we can once again have our accommodation available.

5-1-3 In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains entirely ours.

5 – 2 – Cancellation by the owner: When we have to cancel a stay, we must inform you by email. Without prejudice to any recourse for compensation for any damages suffered, you will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid.

6 COVID 19 Specific Considerations & Cancellations

6 – 1 – In the event of a declaration of illness during your stay at the establishment, it will be impossible for us to ensure a health quarantine imposed by the health authorities or your doctor. You will therefore be forced to shorten your stay with us, and we will be sorry. Naturally, we will reimburse you for the part of the stay not completed.

6 - 2 - In the event of new restrictive health measures imposed by the authorities due to the pandemic (e.g. new lockdown or traffic restrictions), which would prevent you from taking the stay booked in our establishment, we will offer to either postpone your stay or reimburse you.

7 Disputes

7 – 1 – In the event of disputes, it is recommended to contact the Pays des Ecrins Tourist Office, which will act as mediator with a view to an amicable settlement, provided that the complaint is made within 3 days following the start of the stay, for any dispute relating to the inventory or the descriptive condition, or at the end of the stay for all other disputes. These provisions do not prejudge any possible legal action brought by the customer or the owner.
