In Vallouise, in the Ecrins National Park, Clôt Saint Joseph offers accommodation in Gites for an independent stay, or in Bed and Breakfast for a peaceful stay.
Our old farm from 1811, completely renovated, welcomes you summer and winter, for a vacation in the great outdoors. Hautes-Alpes in the heart of an exceptional natural park whose peaks reach over 4000 m above sea level.
The cottages are two apartments located on the 1st floor of our house and have all the equipment necessary for the comfort of your stay.
The guest rooms, located on the second floor, are completely renovated and each equipped with a bathroom. You will then enjoy breakfast included and will have the possibility to dine at the Table d'Hôtes in our common room.

Your cocooning vacation
La Rouya
Facing the summit of the same name, this room with balcony with a cozy mountain atmosphere welcomes you as a couple like a cozy cocoon for the duration of your stay.
La Pousterle
Named after the pass you can see from the balcony, clad in larch for a warm atmosphere, this room can accommodate up to 3 people.
L’Esterel
Because other mountain ranges are worth the detour, this room, with balcony and view of the Pendine peak, takes you further south, in a Provencal decoration and accommodates up to 3 people.
La Condamine
Large family room, named after a nearby peak watching over your nights, you can sleep as a family of 4 in la Condamine.
L’Ourika
The mountains are also beautiful a little further south, in the Moroccan Atlas which inspired this decoration. You can easily accommodate 4 people in our largest room.

Meetings and exchanges are the vocation of the Clot Saint Joseph, beyond just a vacation spot.
What could be better for this than to offer you dinner at our table d'hôtes, around family cuisine, prepared as often as possible from regional products, accompanied by a wine list for connoisseurs.
We welcome you almost every evening, from 4 guests who have booked.
If you are planning to dine at the table d'hôtes, please book the Dinner option when booking your stay, and in any case let us know your intentions upon arrival.

Summer in the mountains offers you a wide choice of activities for young and old, and will allow you to breathe the fresh air in our wide open spaces.
Whether it's hiking, riding on paths, sliding in torrents, climbing on rocks or flying above the valley, we can advise you on the different possibilities!
For all activities requiring supervision, we will be delighted to advise you and help you organize them with the best service providers in our valley.

Convinced of the energy transition that is taking place for vehicles, we have invested in a 2×11 kWh electric charging station usable with your usual operator badge

Your arrival
You can easily find our house on Google Maps and we welcome you between 17:00 and 20:00. Please let us know if you will be arriving late. In winter, we remind you that special equipment (chains) is mandatory throughout the department of Hautes-Alpes
Your departure
In order to be able to properly prepare our rooms and lodgings in compliance with current health standards, we ask you to vacate the rooms for 10:00 the day of your departure.
Animals
The layout and organization of our home does not allow us to accommodate your pets. Thank you for your understanding.

Location
You will find us easily by leaving the village of Vallouise towards Pelvoux. Once past the hamlet of Poet, turn right following the signs indicating " Le Clot Saint Joseph » ! But otherwise…. Google Maps is your best ally 😉
